Product Sale and Availability
All products displayed on our website are subject to availability and will be delivered only within the Republic of South Africa and to areas where we deliver. All prices shown on our website are quoted in South African Rands and are valid and effective only in the Republic of South Africa. We reserve the right to discontinue or change the specifications of our products and services from time to time without notice. We will inform you as soon as possible if any of the products or services you have ordered are not available.
Stock Availability
We cannot always guarantee stock availability and will endeavor to either obtain stock from our stores or source the items from our suppliers. We will immediately advise you of this and advise delivery times of the requested item.
Colours and Items Displayed
We have made every effort to ensure that the colours of the jewellery and watches that appear on our website display as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on the device that you use to access our website, we cannot warrant that your device’s display of any colour will be accurate. All jewellery displayed on our website may be enlarged to show detail and may not be the actual size when purchased. All information, however, in terms of metal, carat size, diamond etc. next to each product description is 100% accurate.
All pendants are sold separately unless otherwise stated. Images of pendants with chains are for display purposes only.
Content Errors
We regret that no order will be accepted if we identify a material error in the description of any of our goods or services or their prices on our website.
Errors
We take all reasonable efforts to ensure that the description, availability and pricing of our Products is accurate. Should there be any errors of whatsoever nature in relation thereto, however, we shall not be liable for any loss, claim or expense relating to a transaction based on any such error, except in the case of the incorrect pricing in which event the amount paid by you will be refunded.
Pricing
You will be charged the prices that are reflected on our website, subject to availability and delivery address. The prices include Value-Added Tax (VAT). Special promotions may be subject to certain conditions, including stock availability and limited offer stipulations. Special promotions apply only to items on your original order (i.e. not on items which are added after the order was placed.) Delivery is charged at a flat-rate of R100,00.
Agreement of Sale
Placing an item in a shopping basket or adding it to a wish-list without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an agreement of sale between The Diamond Box and the user and users cannot hold The Diamond Box liable if such items are not available when the purchase cycle is completed later and/or constitute an order for such an item.
An agreement of sale between you and The Diamond Box will only come into effect upon delivery of the Product to you or when we allow you to collect the same. This is regardless of any communication from us stating that your order or payment has been confirmed. We reserve the right to accept or reject all orders and we will indicate the rejection of your order by cancelling it and, as soon as possible thereafter, refunding you for any amount already paid.
Payment
When you place your order, funds equal to the total value of your order will be deducted against the card you are paying with during the checkout process. To allow for any possible product substitutions, payment will only be affected once your order is ready for delivery.
Payment Methods
EFT payments: You will be required to deposit your money into our Bank Account Once your funds have been cleared, your order will be expedited. EFT payments not received in our bank account within three working days will be cancelled.
Credit Card Payments: At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and an authorization is obtained for the order. Payment is collected when the order is placed and before the goods are shipped.
Note that to protect its own and the interests of customers, The Diamond Box scrutinizes all transactions very carefully to prevent attempted fraud and a transaction may be refused if The Diamond Box is not satisfied with its legitimacy.
Transaction Currency
All transactions will be in South African Rand ZAR, and deliveries will only be within the Republic of South Africa. All transactions converted to South African Rands will be expedited at the current exchange rate of the day and may differ due to currency fluctuation.
Confirmation of Orders
Your offer is deemed to be accepted when you receive an order confirmation. All orders received on a weekend will be processed on the Monday.
Export Restrictions
Online sales and deliveries will only be within the Republic of South Africa.
Layaway
Should a layaway purchase be cancelled the purchaser will forfeit 10% of the purchase price unless funds are transferred to an alternative purchase from The Diamond Box.
In the event that no payments are made during a three-month period the agreement will be considered terminated and no refunds will be made.
Quotations
Written quotations are valid for 14 days from date of issue.
A 30% deposit is payable upfront on all orders. The date of completion is an estimate and wherever possible any unexpected delays will be communicated. The Diamond Box reserve the right to adjust the costs indicated on the sales order.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Repairs
Any reference made to characteristics or description of goods to be repaired shall be for identification purposes only and are in no way a guarantee of quality or authenticity thereof. The date of completion is an estimate and wherever possible, any unexpected delays will be communicated.
The Diamond Box reserves the right to adjust the costs indicated on the repair order.
Goods not collected within sixty days may be sold to defray costs. Although all reasonable precautions are taken to prevent loss or damage it remains the responsibility of the owner to have the goods insured. Neither the company nor any staff member will be liable for any loss suffered.
The Diamond Box reserve the right to return the item undone should the repair not be viable. Damage as a result of heavy wear is not guaranteed. This is usually indicated by dents or scratches on the gold and general neglect of the jewellery.
We recommend you have all settings inspected every six months.
Warranties shall be null and void should any other jeweller repair or modify an item purchased from us.
Watch Repairs
Please see brand guarantee and warrantee card for more details. The guarantee only applies to the movement of the watch, the casing, strap, glass or exterior is excluded. Where applicable, batteries of quartz movements are not under guarantee.
We will accept repairs for all watch brands that we represent. Should the repair fall out of the guarantee we shall provide you with a quotation on the cost of the repair. Please be aware that due to the complexity of watch repairs they may take between 6 to 8 weeks for completion or longer depending on the availability of spares for the repair.
